Mexican Crema (overnight)
Ingredients
- 1 cup (240 ml) cream
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) buttermilk
- 1/8 tsp (0.5 ml) salt
- 2 tsp (10 ml) lime juice
Steps
- Stir cream and buttermilk. Store at room temp for 12 hours.
- Mix in salt and lime juice (can be stored for up to 2 months).
Pairings
- Wine: Sauvignon Blanc – citrusy; Albariño – saline & fresh
- Beer: Mexican Lager – crisp; Pale Ale – hoppy balance
