Spicy Thai Ground Pork with Basil
Ingredients
- 1 lb (500 g) ground pork
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2–3 red Thai chilies, sliced
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) soy sauce
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) fish sauce
- 2 tsp (10 ml) sugar
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) oyster sauce
- 1 bunch Thai basil leaves
- (Optional) 2 fried eggs, steamed rice
Steps
- Heat oil; sauté garlic and chilies until fragrant.
- Add pork; cook until browned and crumbly.
- Stir in soy, fish sauce, sugar, and oyster sauce.
- Toss in basil until just wilted. Serve over rice; top with fried egg.
