Lamb Kofta with Yogurt Sauce
Ingredients
Kofta
- 1 1/2 lb (700 g) ground lamb
- 1 small onion, grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp (5 ml) ground cumin
- 1 tsp (5 ml) ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp (2.5 ml) cinnamon
- Salt and pepper
Yogurt Sauce
- 3/4 cup (200 g) Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) lemon juice
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) mint, chopped
Steps
- Mix lamb with onion, garlic, spices, salt, and pepper; form logs or patties.
- Grill or pan-sear 3–4 minutes per side until 160°F (71°C).
- Combine yogurt, lemon, and mint; serve alongside.
